Adaption and Development on Society 5.0

Week 3 Task
What is Society 5.0? Society 5.0 envisions a human-centered society where cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, big data, and robots are incorporated into all aspects of life. The objective is to establish a peaceful and sustainable society where social advancement, environment preservation, and economic growth are balanced.

First, one of the key aspects of Society 5.0 is the concept of a super-smart society which comprises a fresh way to apply these innovations, in which human beings contribute to adapting daily activities in their society and applying Society 5.0's idea to different areas of individual's life. (Amali Çipi, 2023). It develops a decision-support model that can help companies structure and prioritize new business opportunities within Society 5.0 contexts.

Other than that, Society 5.0 promotes the use of artificial intelligence in human life and the return of humanity to the center of the world. Society 5.0 seeks to achieve economic growth while overcoming social and environmental challenges, contributing to the welfare of the global community. (Zahra Khoshsepher, 2023). Society 5.0 promotes the development of and adoption of green technologies that minimize environmental impact.

Another key aspect of Society 5.0 is data-driven decision-making. Society 5.0 leverages big data analytics to make informed decisions. The data collected from various sources, including sensors and devices, is analyzed to gain insights into social, economic, and environmental trends. (Elvina A, 2023). It analyzes vast amounts of data, organizations and governments can make informed decisions to address societal challenges, optimize resource allocation, and improve services.

Week 7 Task An argument about whether Facebook overpaid for WhatsApp when it accumulated the company in 2014 for $19 billion raised doubts among the community. At the time, WhatsApp had more active users than Facebook, with over 450 million, making it surpassing Facebook's user base at the time  (Edwards, 2014) . In my opinion, I think that Facebook does not overpaid for WhatsApp due to a variety of reasons. I think Facebook paid WhatsApp the amount of money is because of WhatsApp's growing popularity, its potential as a Facebook substitution, and its assurance of independence and free of ads usage.  WhatsApp gained global recognition as a result of its extensive use.
